Course Description
The Electronic Health Records Specialist program is designed to develop skills required to become a certified and develop the understanding and knowledge of medical office administration, electronic health records and documentation. This certificate prepares students for entry-level employment in the medical facility environment to work on auditing records, and compiling reports for patient tracking, and coordinating the systems that keep healthcare facilities operating.
You will receive an access code to access MOSS 3.0, which is a simulated EHR. (Included in enrollment package)
Pre-Requisites

Access to a desktop or laptop computer and Internet as well as a working knowledge of computers and are required.

Completing Medical Terminology before starting this course is strongly recommended.
